Fun on the 4th!

On the 4th of July, to commemorate the birth of the US of A, our friends -the Shontz family- threw a backyard BBQ party, with (limited) fireworks in the park. It was so much fun to see everyone, and Emily LOVED playing with all of her friends.

Didier and Liam outside, waiting for the food to be done.

(This is for you Jess) Emily's other family. She calls Jess "mommy" and Tally "daddy". It's probably since she and Kelsey spend so much time together and that's what Kels calls them.

Me pushing the kids up to the park in my new Phil & Teds stroller. You can't see Dominic (he's in the back) but Emily is sitting in the front seat with Kelsey on the foot rest.

The only "flag" we had was a kite.

Sitting around the campfire in the park. You can't see it, but we were being ATTACKED by locusts.

Emily putting her marshmallow on a GLOW-STICK. Luckily we caught it before she tried to put it in the fire.

Brooke with a sparkler. Emily was afraid of them, so she just watched the other kids play with sparklers.

Its a little blurry, but Emily watched the other kids wave around sparklers from her Papa's shoulders/

Smilies

So the boys have started to smile REAL smiles -not just "I'm falling asleep" and "mom, I just pooped" smiles anymore. But I can't seem to get any good pictures of them smiling. so here are some half smiles and blue eyes.

Misc.

I finally emptied my camera. There's no real rhyme or reason to these pictures, so just pay attention to the captions.

Here's another Kelsey and Emily picture. Kelsey stopped by to play with Emily and they kept giving each other kisses

Liam fell asleep while I was changing him.

Spencer, Ester and Family came and visited us a couple weeks ago. Actually, they went camping with the Kovac's and stopped by on their way home.
Here's Ester and Corinne with Dominic and Liam

Emily has recently decided that Liam's car seat was hers first and so still belongs to her. She sits in it when ever possible, as well as their swing and their bouncy chair.

Say Cheese!

Happy Boys

Emily asleep on the couch. She didn't want to take a nap in her bed but she was tired, so I told her that she could watch a movie, but she had to lay on the couch and couldn't get off until the movie was done. Needless to say, within 5 minutes she was asleep.

Trip to the Tierpark

We went to the Wild Animal Park in Arth-Goldau last Saturday. Emily loved it until the deer and goats tried to come close to her! Every time they came close to her she ran and hid behind Didier. Didier showed her how to throw the food to the deer, but she couldn't throw very far and freaked out when they got close to her. Here are some pictures.

So sweet

There was a fountain near the exit of the Park and a bunch of kids were playing in it. Emily saw them and really wanted to go in too, so we took off all her clothes (well, just her pants at first, but her shirt came off later) and let her go in her diaper.

Happy Birthday to Me!!

I really wasn't looking forward to my birthday this year. First of all, turning half a century old didn't sound that fun (even if it's not all that different from being 24) and secondly, Didier wasn't going to be here. But on the 19th, my friends, Jess and Tally, and my brother- & sister-in-law, Michael and Martina, threw me a surprise birthday dinner. The weather was so nice and we grilled hot dogs, hamburgers and bratwursts. They brought so much salad and fruit as well. Plus Martina made me a cake, which is something I didn't get last year. It was so great! I really had an unexpectedly enjoyable birthday. Thanks so much!

Party!

Best Friends

I am so amazed at how well Emily and Kelsey get along. They really are best friends. Every time I even mention Kelsey's name, Emily gets her shoes and goes to the door because she wants to go play with her. So, here are some pictures of the 2 of them.

Good thing I had 2 babies because they both wanted to hold one! (Notice how the boys didn't like being held by them. They are both SCREAMING!!)

Playing with the big Lego blocks

Emily pointing as if to say "Look! It's Kelsy!!"

Grandma and Grandpa

My (Jennifer's) parents were just here in Switzerland meeting their new grandsons. My mom was here for 16 days and my dad was here for 4. We were very excited for them to be here, even if it wasn't for very long. I didn't get many pictures of my parents with Dominic and Liam (or Emily for that matter), but here are some that I took while they were here, even if they aren't in them.

***NOTE: So there's no confusion, for the rest of this post, my parents will be Grandma and Grandpa.

Dominic and Grandpa asleep on the couch. Grandpa slept a lot, but the twins didn't mind. They slept too!

Didier's Parents (Grandmami et Grandpapi) with the boys at the blessing after-party. Someone took a myriad of photos at the blessing and party, but I don't know where they are. If you have them, can I have a copy of them? This is the only picture I've got!!

All the kids and me.

Grandma and Emily went on lots of walks. Here's Emily just walking;

Also, I cut Emily's hair while grandma was still here. She no longer has that really cute mullet! More pics to come.

New Job!

We would just like to announce that Didier has (finally)found a new job! He is now working for Neways (another MLM company, based out of Utah) as the country manager for Germany. We are so excited about this position and are happy about the timing as well. Plus we get to stay where we are, as it is a "Home office" position. Congrats Didier!
